off-kilter

I've been a little off my game this week and I'm not quite sure why. I've been sick, but I'm not sure it's as much a cause of the off-ness as it is, perhaps, a symptom. My body and brain are weird like that sometimes. I was a wreck last night for reasons that I'm not quite sure I can articulate. I wonder if it's a matter of being sick (and taking sinus meds, blech) messes with my mind, or if my mind is all a-jumble and it's just coming out through my physical reaction.

In other news, being sick has sapped me of whatever teensy shred of motivation I had remaining. I just want to go back to bed and stay there for a very, very long time. But alas and alack, my schedule does not allow such things. rather, I'm just grinding through the to-do list, slowly but surely, bit by bit. I'm now in the stacks staring down a chunk of coding, but it's a bit of coding that I know I can finish. Tomorrow I need to go through and pick out all my paperwork so I can figure out what I still need to get ahold of. I know I need some michigan stuff, and perhaps some oregon as well. At this point I have three very complete sets, so I'm working on finishing up the last two.

Time to get cracking.
